Head of Software Development - Expiring soon!

Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Salary/Rate:
£70,000 - £80,000/annum

We are delighted to be working with this Cambridge based organisation in their pursuit of a Head of Software to lead their growing development team on a full time, permanent basis. This is a hybrid role which will require occasional travel to their Cambridge office.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the current inhouse software development team and driving productivity
  • Managing multiple software projects and teams within an agile environment
  • Working with stakeholders to produce products that meet the organisations requirements
  • Providing a hands-on approach where required to support development, testing and automation  
  • Developing architecture for all software products
  • Working closely with the CTO to manage technical operations

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in a similar role, leading, developing, and motivating technical teams
  • Proven experience working and managing within an Agile environment
  • Have the capability to work hands on when needed to develop
  • Strong experience in full-stack development (C#, .NET)
  • Understanding of internet and cloud technologies
  • Relevant software development certifications
