Dublin – 5 days a week in the office

6 months (very high chance of extension)

700 Euro per day

Are you a Power BI Developer that likes to work collaboratively, in a high performing team? Do you have experience working in regulated, multi-national companies? Do you have thorough knowledge of Software Engineering practices? If so, keep reading.

My client, a global insurance firm have recently set up a centre of excellence in the heart of Dublin. They’re looking for a Power Bi Developer to perform software design using robust software development processes. The Power BI Developer will design and develop business critical software.

The Power BI Developer will be responsible for:

  • Working with the architects to create solution designs for the team
  • Lead by example and mentor more junior Power BI Developers
  • Create documentation for Power BI solutions
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure and compliant
  • Produce clean, readable code

Qualifications and experience needed for the Power BI Developer:

  • At least 6 years’ experience in Software Development
  • 4+ years with Power BI
  • Experience with other Power Platform technologies (Power Apps, Power Automate etc)
  • Stakeholder management
  • Ability to pick up business processes quickly
  • Insurance/underwriting is advantageous
