  • We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join the team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, C# .Net Core and database technologies such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • As a Software developer for this innovative project, you will benefit from:
  • System designs informed by the experience of local authority resettlement caseworkers to capture and support best practice refugee integration processes.
  • Product management support to specify requirements and translate expertise into clear development instructions, with responsive feedback given throughout the development cycle.
  • Expertise gained from delivering bespoke technical solutions for local authorities and government to support efficient service provision nationally and to keep personal information safe.


What you will do in the role of Software Developer?

  • Collaborate to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and C# .NET Core.
  • Work with various database technologies including MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB to design, implement, and optimize data storage solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain code quality and application performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure our software solutions are cutting-edge and competitive.


What skills will you require for the position of Software Developer?

  • Proven experience as a Software Developer with expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and C# .NET Core.
  • Strong understanding of database design and experience working with MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with front-end development tools and libraries (e.g., Redux, Webpack).
  • Solid understanding of software development best practices and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • If would be an advantage if you have:
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Digital Ocean, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
