Role Purpose

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer / SDET who will be responsible for contributing to test automation solutions on agile projects. This includes assisting in the design and maintenance of test automation frameworks and integrating them into build/deployment pipelines via GitHub Actions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with agile team members from various disciplines to deliver high-quality applications and facilitate the development of robust automated test solutions. The role provides an opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of the overall test process and implementation of industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to building and maintaining automation test frameworks using .Net Core and C# BDD.

Create automated test solutions for functional and regression testing of software products.

Perform functional and regression testing of all code and configuration changes.

Document QA processes, practices, and build the QA knowledge database.

Integrate automated test solutions into the engineering build pipeline (Continuous Integration) and trigger test suites via GitHub Actions.

Conduct exploratory testing to support the agile approach and adhere to QA industry best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical changes and testing requirements.

Share knowledge and provide support for test automation across the QA Team.

Gain an understanding of the company's products and associated functionality.

Assist in adhering to industry standards and test automation processes.

Essential Skills:

Proficiency in object-oriented programming using C# or Java.

Experience in writing code for .Net based test automation solutions, utilizing BDD tools.

Experience in automating testing of REST API and/or UI-based applications.

Familiarity with GitHub Actions workflow for deploy/test in CI pipeline.

Experience with Selenoid for parallel UI testing is advantageous.

Experience in writing SQL relational database queries.

Good understanding of QA automation methodologies, tools, and agile processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft products, Visual Studio, Azure, Word, Excel, and Windows PC environment.

Effective communication skills at both business and technical levels.

ISTQB Software Testing certifications are preferred.
