Our reputable client in Daventry is seeking a Full Stack PHP Developer to join their growing team.

The Full Stack PHP Developer will work a hybrid-working model, with 1-2 days required in the office in Daventry each week.

Role Description

With a blend of green and brownfield development, you will be part of our Daventry development team which is integral to our future growth.

As a successful candidate, you will have 3+ years of experience using PHP and Laravel in a daily and professional capacity. You will have a solid understanding of web technologies and want to help design, implement, launch, and scale major systems and user-facing features.

You will be a quick learner who actively seeks opportunities to push boundaries and is comfortable with ambiguity. Working with a small team of like-minded people who are all keen to collaborate and drive each other forward you will thrive in an environment which continuously looks to improve and innovate to make a positive impact on the world. Self-driven with the ability to work independently you will also welcome instruction and challenge from colleagues.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience using PHP and Laravel (we are using PHP 8.2 and Laravel 10)
  • Knowledge of Vue.js (version 3)
  • Developing and maintaining web services and APIs using RESTful principles
  • Ability to write clean, high-quality, high-performance, well-tested, maintainable code.
  • Comfortable working with remote teams, using Github/Slack/Meet to collaborate
  • Ability to write well-designed, maintainable, testable, and efficient code that addresses problems, not just specification.
  • Ability to execute full software development life cycle
  • Ability to quickly acquire technical and professional knowledge
  • Experience with Quasar is preferable as well as writing unit tests and/or e2e tests
