We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our growing team in Manchester, UK.



Role Overview

Working as part of our dynamic technology function, you will directly contribute to an award-winning digital platform supporting over 2000 entrepreneurial travel businesses.

The Software Engineer will contribute to end-to-end system design and development, be a key part of helping us grow, develop, and expand on our existing systems, and support our platform modernisation and cloud migration journey.



Principal Accountabilities

  • Be part of a high-performing team delivering scalable, resilient, customer-centric systems that make up our Personal Digital Platform.
  • Work with the Scrum team to develop delivery schedules for projects.
  • Work with business analysts, business owners, and testers.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver features from inception and throughout the lifecycle.
  • Help drive a high-performing engineering culture.
  • Keep up to date with the latest technologies and contribute to the definition of engineering and technology strategy.
  • Work with the team to continually improve practices and processes.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years in a similar role, demonstrating strong progression and an aptitude to learn and develop
  • Experience working with .NET core and Node.js


Desirable Skills

  • Degree preferred from a leading university - Computer Science, Software Engineering, Maths or other numerate subjects or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience working in the travel industry (not a pre-requisite).
