Role Purpose:

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer to work closely with the clients product team to deliver in terms of the road map Working alongside external development resource and overseeing development from these third party contracted developers

What you will be doing:

As a Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer within the clients development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable high-performance web applications using Ruby on Rails. Working in test-driven development (TDD) environment, writing automated tests, troubleshooting, debuging and resolving issues in existing software applications as well as performing code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.

What experience you'll have:

• Motivated self-starter with a strong background in Ruby on Rails development and a passion for delivering high-quality code
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL queries
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

About you:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and writing automated tests (e.g., RSpec, Capybara)
• Experience with deployment and hosting platforms (e.g., Cloud66, Linode/Azure)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, experience with Azure DevOps will be advantageous but not a requirement
