Lead Developer – Homebased - £60,000-£65,000

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Software Development Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development lifecycle, from conception to implementation and support. If you are a senior developer who is very technically aware of how projects need to run to completion, then get in touch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in all phases of the development cycle, including conception, architecture, refinement, implementation, and support.
• Work with the Scrum Master to determine project requirements and create work schedules for the development team, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Investigate and fix bugs identified during testing or production, ensuring the stability and reliability of the software.
• Identify project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues and ensure project success.
• Collaborate with other teams, including product management, QA, and operations, to ensure alignment and successful delivery of projects.

Skills & Abilities:

• Proficiency in Scrum Methodology, with experience of working in Agile development teams.
• Strong knowledge of Git source control for version management and collaboration.
• Solid understanding of HTML/CSS, including pre-processors such as SASS/LESS.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, with experience using frameworks like React.
• Experience with Delphi programming language is highly considered.

This is a remote based role which will require coming to the office once a month and you will be joining a forward thinking team in a very tech focussed organisation that is really pushing to take itself to the next steps. This is a pivotal role that will also come with a lot of potential for growth.

This is a very technical role, so candidates will need to demonstrate this ability at interview stage with an in-depth discussion, so you will need recent and solid experience to fall back on.
