One of the UK's leading public sector application development firms is recruiting for a mid/senior level Software Developer to join their dev team of 20 and operate as a key figure within the build of their niche products. Essential:
- Experience in web development using Microsoft technology
- A good understanding of object orientated programming principals and design patterns
- Knowledge of working with relational databases through an ORM
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of an Agile team as well as solo
- An understanding/appreciation of agile methodologies
- Knowledge of testing practices (e.g. unit/integration tests)

You will also have the opportunity to work with Azure DevOps and the business actively encourage, as well as fund, the attainment of Microsoft certifications with the majority of your future colleagues already MS certified.

This role will suit you if you either have a number of years of experience working with legacy technologies, or are perhaps returning to work after an extended break/sabbatical. You'll be joining an industry leading organisation whose applications have been utilised by niche clients for over 20 years.
