We are looking for a Network Engineer to develop and manage a robust network infrastructure tailored to the specific needs of virtual production projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy a robust network infrastructure tailored to virtual production project needs, considering factors like high bandwidth, low latency, and data security.
  • Work closely with other technical teams to understand their networking needs and provide optimal solutions. 
  • Manage and upkeep network hardware and software such as routers, switches, firewalls, and monitoring tools to ensure reliable operation. 
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues and performance bottlenecks using diagnostic tools and methodologies. 
  • Deploy security measures to safeguard production data and intellectual property, adhering to industry best practices and compliance requirements. 
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends related to virtual production and networking, integrating innovative solutions to enhance capabilities. 
  • Provide technical guidance and support to production teams, assisting them in leveraging network resources effectively to achieve their creative objectives.  
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps, to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference. 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in networking engineering, preferably within the media and entertainment industry.
  • Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies.
  • Familiarity with network hardware and software
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Open to short term domestic and international travel on a project-by-project basis.
