The Real-time software DevOps team is tasked with building and maintaining PXO's Virtual Production workflows and collaborating with production stakeholders and other members of the Technology team to devise efficient workflows and pioneering technologies that maximize our production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to real-time pipeline for build, deployment, and version control systems
  • Ensure the real-time technical infrastructure is maintained to the high standard required.
  • Ensure the real-time technology technical infrastructure meets the demands for usage.
  • Monitoring system usage and capacity.
  • To ensure the security and accessibility of all relevant data.
  • Creating technical documentation and workflow guides to assist both artists and devs.
  • Thoroughly validating your work through systematic and comprehensive testing.
  • Swiftly and efficiently addressing bug reports and support requests related to the pipeline, software, and hardware.

Requirements

  • A strong grasp of source control systems and development, git and perforce.
  • A strong grasp of different provisioning techniques including Ansible and PDQ
  • Proficiency in both Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Proficiency with AWS and on-premise virtual machines
  • Proactive and self-driven work ethic, comfortable in an agile environment.
  • A strong grasp of Unreal Engine, from Blueprints to core C++ modules
  • A strong grasp of C#, Python and Javascript.
  • A strong grasp of  modern C++ skills (C++17/20)
  • Networking and AV systems knowledge, firewall configurations.
  • Experience with integrating hardware / software APIs and common communication protocols
