Software Test Engineer, Dublin, Hybrid, €60,000-€65,000

Position Overview: As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our clients' web and mobile applications. Your focus will be on API testing, utilizing Postman, and automation testing using Selenium with Java. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute automated tests, ensuring our applications perform seamlessly across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Java.
• Design and perform API tests using Postman to ensure the reliability and performance of web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify test requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with the development team to resolve defects.
• Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline testing processes.
• Document test cases, procedures, and results to ensure transparency and repeatability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software testing with a focus on API testing and automation.
• Proficiency in Selenium with Java for automated testing.
• Experience using Postman for API testing.
• Strong understanding of web and mobile application testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
