Working within the IT Operations team, the Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing and building cloud based solutions (Azure)
Key Accountabilities:
- Enable Cloud technology adoption through strategy planning, design, and implementation.
- Leading Infrastructure strategy planning alongside the IT Operations Manager to ensure systems are fit-for-purpose and meet the ongoing needs of the business.
- Be a Subject Matter Expert on Azure and MS365 applications and support mentoring and development of other IT colleagues.
- Act as a technical escalation point, working with other team members to resolve complex problems and provide root cause analysis.
- Enhance automation of cloud enablement tools, such as Infrastructure As Code, and participate in their design and evolution.
- Planning and implementing system migrations from datacentre hosted infrastructure to the cloud.
We are looking for:
- Experience as a Cloud Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Solution Architect or similar role with demonstrable experience of leading cloud infrastructure migrations and projects
- Strong knowledge experecne of a broad range of Azure services
- O365 Applications - Sharepoint, Teams, Onedrive, Intune
- Exchange
- On-Prem Infrastructure - Windows server, Active Directory, VMWare, Backup solutions
