FIND have partnered with a multi-award winning Technology Training company who are looking to hire a DevOps Coach to join their Engineering Training team.

The primary responsibility of this role is to coach and train junior / apprentice DevOps Engineers, helping them develop their skills and advance their careers.

This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere within the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Provide one-on-one and small-group coaching to junior and apprentice DevOps Engineers, guiding them through best practices, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.

  • Training Development: Deliver group training and workshops that cover key DevOps concepts, tools, and technologies
  • Technical Guidance: Offer hands-on support and guidance in coding, scripting, and automation, ensuring the apprentices can effectively use Python, C#, Java, or JavaScript (you’ll be assigned to the tech stack that you’re most comfortable with)
  • Performance Assessment: Evaluate the progress and performance of apprentices, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers, managers, and stakeholders within the apprentices’ workplaces to align coaching efforts with organizational goals and project requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in DevOps and related technologies to continuously improve the training program.
Requirements:

Experience:
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and tools.
  • Prior coaching or training experience (Coach / Mentor / Trainer / Teacher / Lecturer / Tutor / Instructor)
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python, C#, Java OR JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, infrastructure as code, containerization, and cloud platforms.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • The ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
Starting salary is up to £80,000
