Join a fast-paced IT MSP as a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer and embark on a journey of continuous professional growth.

This job offers hybrid working (2 days at home); the office is based in Holborn.

THE 2ND LINE IT SUPPORT ROLE:
Overall, you'll be handling complex technical problems promptly and efficiently.
  • Throughout keeping accurate records and maintaining a knowledge base.
  • Collaborating with the team to identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall support experience for clients.
  • Participating in project work and providing input on technical solutions.
  • Staying up-to-date with new technologies and industry updates ensures you can provide the best support possible.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure that you can provide the best possible support and contribute to a positive work environment.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience as a 2nd Line Support Engineer.
  • At least one of the following certifications is preferred: MCITP, MCP, A+, N+, Apple
  • Experience with:
  • TCP/IP and troubleshooting internet connectivity.
  • Routers and SonicWALL, DrayTek firewalls.
  • Network switching
  • Terminal Services & Citrix.
  • Server hardware technologies.
  • Data backup and recovery support.
  • Understanding of DNS services.
  • Wireless technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of server operating systems
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac troubleshooting and configuration
  • Ideally, knowledge of networking and firewalls
  • Must be London-based.
  • We highly value previous experience in an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment.
SALARY & BENEFITS YOU’LL RECEIVE AS 2ND LINE IT SUPPORT:
  • £32,000 - £35,000 base salary
  • Monthly agreement efficiency bonus (up to 20% of salary).
  • 20 days holiday (increasing with tenure up to 25) + birthday holiday + public holidays.
