The Role: Cabling Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Duration: Around 8 weeks
Start Date: W/C 20th May or ASAP.
Rate: £190 per day, LTD company outside IR35.
We're looking to bring in a cabling engineer to work on a cable installation project for a sporting arena in Birmingham.
Working as part of a small team, the role will be doing the installation and termination for power cable, but as the cable is de-energised, we don't need a specific electrical or power background, and while that experience would be a bonus, we're happy to speak with solid telecoms / data cabling engineers.
Some of the work will be at height, using cherry pickers so It's essential you have the IPAF 3b qualification along with a good eye for health and safety, alongside a flexible attitude to the working day to fit in with the customer requirements.
This could potentially lead to ongoing work across the country, as the project is using some innovative technology (Training will be given) that is potentially part of a national roll out programme.
Contract roles are LTD company and have been classed as outside IR35. Monday to Friday normal working day / week.
