Azure DevOps Engineer

Our client a global financial company based in central London is looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer. Will be working remotely in a leading organisation.

Design Automation of infrastructure and software rollout using Azure DevOps pipelines, including quality gates such as peer reviews. Will be working on Design and develop Infrastructure, using an IaC approach, that aligns with industry best practices such as the Azure Well-Architected Framework. Have experience in Design and develop automatic scaling and highly available solutions. Work closely with other departments, such as Development and Architecture, to ensure that Azure technologies are being used correctly and efficiently. - Work closely with the Security teams to design secure solutions from the get-go and assist with validating designs against best practice

• Able to work well as an individual and as part of a team

• Take part in architectural discussions with technical / non-technical team members

• Able to self-manage and self-motivate• Strong inter-personal and communication skills

• Able to work under pressure

• Have a desire to keep up with the latest tools and techniques

An understanding of Azure PaaS components:-

Key areas: o AKS (deployment + management) o API Management o App Services o Azure SQL o Functions o Networking o App Insights o Data Factory o Databricks •

Proven experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)

Solid understanding:-

  • Terraform
  • HELM charts
  • Flux
  • Powershell
  • Azure CLI
