Senior React Developer - £65,000 - £75,000 per annum – UK (Remote)

We are currently looking for a Senior React Developer for a company that are revolutionising how large websites harness the power of SEO.

Their mission is to demonstrate the tangible value of SEO by enabling agile changes and rigorous testing, empowering teams to enhance their visibility on search engines. They are committed to injecting data-driven and scientific methodologies into the realm of SEO.

They are looking for a seasoned UK-based Senior React Developer with considerable years of experience in React development.

In this role, you'll be instrumental in crafting the customer-facing facets of our platform, serving a broad spectrum of clients ranging from startups to enterprises. Collaborating closely with their existing frontend developer and the wider team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping significant enhancements within this domain.

Responsibilities:

  • · Develop and maintain customer-facing components of their platform using React, Typescript, and other frontend technologies.
  • · Collaborate with the backend team utilizing Django for seamless integration.
  • · Architect robust applications and contribute to technology and infrastructure decisions.
  • · Engage in unit and functional testing using Jest, React Testing Library, and Enzyme.
  • · Implement data fetching strategies leveraging React Query.
  • · Transform UX/UI designs into functional React components using tools like Figma.
  • · Work within a microservices architecture, communicating with APIs across the platform.

Essential background / skills:

  • · Considerable professional experience in React development.
  • · Proficiency in React, Typescript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • · Familiarity with web build tools such as Webpack.
  • · Experience with frontend testing methodologies (Jest/React Testing Library/Enzyme).
  • · Ability to architect applications and contribute to architectural decisions.
  • · Knowledge of data visualization/charting tools like Highcharts.
  • · Exposure to large and complex codebases.
  • · Familiarity with REST APIs.
  • · Strong understanding of responsive design principles.
  • · Proficient in version control using Git.
  • · Self-directed, motivated, and enthusiastic about learning.
  • · Comfortable working remotely with occasional travel to London.
