We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Value Manager to join our team within Vistry West London, at our Ealing office. As our Social Value Manager, you will be Reporting to the Associate Social Value Director and working alongside our Project Delivery Teams across a portfolio of large-scale, mixed-use, mixed-tenure West London regeneration schemes to plan, co-ordinate, deliver and monitor a number of social value and employment and skills projects and initiatives that support the delivery of our local project-level commitments.

• Deliver project-specific social value programmes in consultation with partners, communities, and stakeholders.

• Support project-specific Community Boards and the allocation of project level Community-Chest funding.

• Deliver skills, training and employment outreach and brokerage via schools and colleges visits, careers fairs, local supplier networking/events, work experience, mentoring and skills-share initiatives.

• Provide timely and accurate monitoring and reporting on activity.

In line with our Agile Working Policy, the postholder will be required to work on site or regional offices for 4 days per week. They will need to have the ability to work flexibly across various regeneration sites and will be required to attend events during evenings or weekends as required.

    • Ensure that social value projects and programmes are delivered in accordance with project-level commitments, managing and delivering a range of social value initiatives across a portfolio of regeneration schemes.
    • Commissioning suppliers to deliver social value initiatives specific to each project, monitoring performance entering into Service Level Agreements where appropriate.
    • Attend/arrange staff cover and promotional/marketing materials for job fairs, training events, local supplier/meet the buyer events, school outreach.
    • Attend/arrange staff to deliver volunteering programmes.
    • Work with Development and Commercial Teams to prepare, implement and report on Employment, Careers, Skills, and Training Plans.
    • Brokering, coordinating, and monitoring of jobs, apprenticeships, traineeships, work experience placements delivered in-house and/or within our supply chain.
    • Building and maintaining new and existing relationships with potential referral partners such as schools, colleges, employment agencies etc to source candidates for our in-house and supply chain skills and employment opportunities.
    • Using Social Value reporting tools to monitor and report on social value being delivered at a project-level.
    • Contributing to Monthly Project Update Reports and preparing performance and evaluation information and briefings for Regional reporting.
    • Work with Development Management team to process invoices and ensure payments are made and recorded on system and file.
    • Ensure that Service Level Agreements with relevant/timely KPIs and case study requirements are in place prior to social value project initiative commencement and that these are regularly monitored.
    • Management of Community Chest and governance procedures associated with the funding, be it via a Community Board or alternative form.
    • To manage resources within allocated budgets, ensure service delivery, funding processes and projects comply with procedures for each project, including JV governance if applicable working with the development team.
    • Attend quarterly Council S106/ SV monitoring meetings alongside Project Teams and prepare required monitoring information and feedback any key matters.
    • File and maintain all key documentation, photos, case studies in a timely way in line with agreed filing system.
    • Ensure relevant health and safety documentation, DBS, safeguarding, lone working and other procedures and processes in place at a project level.
    • Reporting to clients and partners on social impact and a project level via Social Value Portal and any other reporting methodologies as required by clients.
    • Use of Biosite and Social Value tools. Working with the Commercial team to monitor local procurement reporting.
    • Assist the Associate Social Value Director with bids and tenders by supplying information on social value and community issues during tender bid and submission stages, attend dialogue meetings and site visits as required. This will include from time to time, writing tenders, attending tender meetings, preparing presentations, and providing case study material.
    • Work closely with the Associate Social Value Director to compile case study and other promotional collateral arising from social value activities.
    • Working with wide ranging stakeholders including local politicians, Council officers, and neighbourhood groups.
    • Ensure that the whole community and partners are engaged and informed during community development projects, building links with local groups and agencies.
    • Work effectively with the voluntary and community sector, formal and informal community groups, residents, and volunteers and through these groups maximise Vistry's ability to improve the quality of life for residents.
