As a leading security solutions provider, we install and maintain highly advanced systems. These range from ground-based radar detection, long range thermal imaging to the very latest behavioural and biometric based analytical software. We are looking for an experienced engineer who can demonstrate good technical skills across all disciplines of CCTV/Controlled Access Systems with a proactive approach to fault finding and a logical and organised means of providing solutions.

Senior CCTV and Access Control Engineer - The Role:

There will be travel to client sites, when necessary, a lot of our work is along the M62 corridor.

You would be based from our new offices in Castleford, West Yorkshire which incorporates a manufacturers certified demonstration/training suite.

You will be on Call 1 in 5 weekends (Friday evening, Saturday & Sunday 08.00 to 18.00 - primarily telephone support).

What you'll do

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Completing installation, service and maintenance on CCTV and Access Control systems
• Working in commercial environments
• Provide reliable, quality support and service to customers at all times
• Assist customers and colleagues with technical issues either on the phone or face to face
• Work closely with other engineers and provide support and training to more junior members of the team

Senior CCTV and Access Control Engineer - The skills you'll need:

For success within this role applicants will need to have sound product knowledge across a wide range of systems from legacy analogue CCTV to current IP based HD systems. Experience in access control and detection activated CCTV Systems is also required.

The ideal candidate would be -

• 3+ years experienced within the Security Systems sector
• Driven and self-motivated
• Well organised with excellent time management
• Able to build a strong rapport with customers
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Logical and able to work through technical principles with ease
• A full UK driving licence is essential

BS7858 and CRB will be undertaken on successful candidates in line with the Industry Standard.
