We're seeking passionate individuals eager to contribute to and thrive in a rapidly evolving environment, and are looking for a Senior Bid Manager to join our Commercial team. This role will be responsible for managing competitive bids and proposals for our end-to-end digital transformation services. The Senior Bid Manager will work closely with the Sales and Delivery teams to ensure bid responses are high quality and submitted on-time. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in bid management, bid writing and demonstrate exceptional communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

    • Manage and contribute to the bid qualification (Go / No Go Decision) process for new opportunities
    • Assemble and manage virtual bid teams comprising a variety of stakeholders, commercial, practices, delivery, HR, finance, compliance and legal
    • Direct the process for bids and maintain responsibility for the quality and consistency of all proposals
    • Analyse bids/proposals at all stages ensuring that the overall solution optimises client's chance of success
    • Ensure overall consistency of the bid strategy and anticipate critical success factors
    • Prepare, shape and review the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all services are included in the final price to the customer and ensure that the costs support the price to win
    • Risk identification, evaluation, tracking and management throughout the bid process
    • Contributing to the written proposal - both in terms of content and presentation (such as preparation of a management summary)
    • Manage escalation process with bids
    • Ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids
    • Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues
    • Arrange all post bid reviews with customers, post contract award
    • Pipeline management and tracking
    • Opportunity tracking (via Tussell, Contracts Finder, Kimble etc)
    • Portal Management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management or English (advantageous)
  • Experience as a bid writer / manager
  • Excellent oral and written communicator
  • Excellent industry knowledge and a willingness to keep up with trends.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Deadline-driven and committed to excellence.
