Position Overview: As a Senior .NET Developer & Line Manager, you will play a pivotal role in both technical leadership and team management. You'll lead by example, driving excellence in software development practices while guiding and mentoring a team of developers. Your expertise in .NET, Azure, React, and SQL Server, combined with your industry experience in banking or insurance, will be instrumental in shaping the future of our digital offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 4 developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management.
  • Drive the design, development, and implementation of scalable and efficient .NET applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Utilize your expertise in Azure to architect and deploy cloud-based solutions.
  • Develop and maintain efficient database structures using SQL Server.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into our development processes.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements:

  • Ideally you would have Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience working with .NET, Azure, React, and SQL Server.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing software development teams or the want to explore this as a next step in your career.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Industry experience in banking or insurance, with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Passion for technology and a drive to stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving industry.
