Technical Manager
Location: Middlewich
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm; includes on-call weeks and occasional weekend
Our client is a tech-focused company in Cheshire dedicated to providing high-quality IT solutions and support. Absolute Commercial are seeking a proactive Technical Manager to oversee our client’s support/helpdesk team.
Are you a skilled Technical Manager that can lead a helpdesk team? This role involves overseeing a Quality Management System to ensure high service standards are consistently met. Additionally, the Technical Manager will provide both proactive and reactive technical support and ensure continuous operation of the tech support desk, which includes maintaining 24/7 coverage. The role also requires acting as the primary point of escalation for technical issues.
The ideal candidate for this position would preferably hold an MCP or equivalent Microsoft certification, though this is not mandatory. A full, clean UK driving license is required. Experience in technical leadership, particularly within a small to medium business environment, is highly valued.
