As a result of our clients expansion plans, and continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to be based at a Head Office in Plymouth.

About the Role:

• Using SQL, excel and Power BI to analyse data and sales performance.
• Analysing sales performance.
• Analysing promotional activity and tracking profitability.
• Analysing large volumes of diverse data, providing actionable insights.
• Providing meaningful reports to the Head of Department.
• Analyse pricing to ensure profitability / price elasticity.
• Communicating insights and results at different levels to diverse audiences within the company.
• Conducting investigations into identified areas of concern.
• Adhoc analysis and data gathering.
• Presenting findings to stakeholders, department manager and head of department.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience with SQL – desirable.
• Experience working with data.
• Previous experience working in an analytical role.
• Understand data and how performance is measured.
• Proactive time management.
• A strong commercial awareness.
• Self-starter, motivated and enthusiastic.
• You must be a Team player.
• Demonstratable analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Problem solver.
• Experience with Python – desirable but not essential.
