We have a brilliant opportunity for a Consultant to join my client's Managed Services team with a Global SaaS Organisation.

Salary - £28-£30K - Remote working

Job Overview:

The role requires deep product knowledge and expertise, with excellent internal and customer-facing communication skills. Working in a small but growing team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including system administration, configuration, general troubleshooting and knowledge transfer for the organisation's Managed Service customers.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • General administration encompassing all aspects of the organisation's SaaS product.
  • Review, investigate and resolve client MSO (Managed Service Offering) requests related to the SaaS product.
  • To understand end-to-end business processes and define new and improved practices where appropriate.
  • Learn to identify issues and appropriately escalate requests as necessary to senior colleagues and other internal teams.
  • Ensure customer questions and challenges are effectively answered, taking ownership of issues to conclusion.
  • Assist clients in the development of Standard Reports \ PPT Reports and Dashboards using the organisation's reporting facility.
  • Requirements gathering for customisations and be able to document solid solutions working with the customer. You will be required to effectively communicate changes to the internal development \ integration teams for customisation work to be carried out. e.g. measures, custom reports
  • Review and respond to MSO Requests providing well thought out and through researched solutions, seeking guidance and advice from more senior team members as necessary.
  • Be able to translate business requests into functional working practices.
  • Manage and maintain appropriate documentation as business operations change, keeping a thorough track of system changes and impacts.
  • Communicate to clients at all levels with clear guidance on operation and system solutions.
  • Provide knowledge transfer on any new system changes and organise communications out to the client base of such changes.
  • Continuous improvement of processes for customer systems.
  • Other duties as assigned

About you:

  • A minimum of 1 years application support experience
  • Fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in implementing, configuring and administering software solutions.
  • Proficient with Windows Operating systems and MS Office. In particular MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel
  • Basic understanding of databases including SQL query language.
  • Experience in Project Management and MS Project.
  • Power Bi skills (desirable but not essential).
  • Previous experience working as a consultant with SaaS products (desirable but not essential)
  • Degree in IT / Business Science (desirable but not essential)
