The Opportunity:
My client are a software house currently looking for a Frontend Developer on a permanent basis. In this role you will play a key role in shaping innovative projects from scratch, as well as enhancing the user interface of their existing client applications.
Your responsibilities will include developing new features, conducting thorough testing, and proactively maintaining their applications to ensure an outstanding user experience.
To thrive in this role you will need to possess strong skills in website development and have a knack for creating custom components that align with client requirements.
Finally, you'll be crafting functional and visually appealing features that not only meet their client's expectations but also contribute to the growth of their client base.
Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of front-end development experience, with a specialisation in component-based frameworks.
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS and JavaScript, including frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Familiarity with Responsive Design and Cross-browser Compatibility principles.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Knowledge of Web Performance Optimisation strategies.
- An understanding of UI/UX principles and a commitment to crafting user-friendly interfaces.
- Familiarity with Web Accessibility fundamentals (WCAG).
- Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in the realms of debugging and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Frontend Build Tools like Webpack or Gulp.
- Proficiency in Testing and Quality Assurance practices.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies.
