Reporting into the Head of Enterprise Applications, the Technical Architect role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Telecoms Infrastructure Services business unit product strategy to enable and support their goals. The role focuses on ensuring we are future facing, embracing new innovative technology and leveraging existing technologies.

What you'll do:

  • Produce technical product strategies and roadmaps to deliver business strategy fulfil technical goals and long-term planning to mitigate obsolescence.
  • To work stakeholders to deliver and support new solutions for business transition, transformation, and business as usual activities.
  • Lead technical training sessions, develop technical standards, and provide guidance on technical solutions.
  • Drive scoping and requirements workshops with customers and stakeholders creating technical requirements documentation and solution proposals.
  • To support the product/application selection and architecture development processes
  • To manage 3rd party suppliers including technical liaison, technical compliance, inter-dependencies between suppliers, testing, scoping of support contracts and transfer into operations.
  • End to end responsibility for the specification, design, configuration, and deployment of the solutions, including all documentation, statements of work, handbooks, user guides, training, and successful transfer into operations.
  • Lead on technical workshops and produce high-end documentation of technical solutions and services.
  • Support the product team - To mentor, coach, and support individuals to develop technical capabilities.

Who you are:

This role would be ideal for an experienced Technical Architect who is looking for a new position to drive innovative future facing technologies.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience architecting relevant business solutions within a similar industry
  • In depth experience implementing and architecting Microsoft technologies
  • Experience working in a commercial environment supporting bid responses.
  • Demonstrable ability to work within a team environment
  • Togaf 9 and above certification
  • ITIL foundation.
