Business Development Executive

London- Remote and flexible to meet the clients in London.

Salary between £40,000 - £60,000 + OTE 

The Opportunity

We're hiring for an innovative tech client that offers a SaaS platform enabling organisations, from corporates to small businesses, to engage with and monitor legislative and regulatory developments relevant to their operations. They've been experiencing excellent growth and now need additional support from a Business Development Executive to expand their business across the UK.

We're seeking experienced sales professionals with a proven track record of managing the entire sales cycle, confident in closing deals, possessing excellent relationship-building skills, and a strong desire to sell. This role would be ideal for a candidate passionate about sales and with an interest in politics and public policy, although it's not mandatory. 

Your Responsibilities 

• Work towards hitting or exceeding revenue goals on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Build a pipeline of new business, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities and confident in closing deals. 
• Educate yourself on becoming an expert on our clients products, conduct discovery calls, presentations, and demos with prospects.
• Maintain and develop relationships with prospects and accounts. 
• Demonstrate and sell value to key stakeholders.
• Track all activity and opportunities, purchase time frames, next call to actions, forecasting, etc on to the CRM.

Your Skills and Experience 

• A history of successful lead generation and closing deals is essential.
• Hunter attitude, consistently focused on meeting and exceeding targets.
• Demonstrable experience in selling SAAS solutions.
• Proven record of overachieving targets & sourcing new business for a SAAS product
• Excellent communication skills/presentation skills and the ability to build relationships.
• An interest in politics and public policy would be desirable but not essential.
