RBM & Hot Melt Product Manager - Daventry, Northamptonshire

Are you an experienced Product Manager who has working knowledge of RBM Membranes AND Structural Hot Melts?

You will be working for an industry-leading Construction business, that commit to designing and installing sustainable solutions with environmental benefits!

You will act as the Business champion for all technical matters relating to your product set.

This is a permanent opportunity, offering 1 day per week in the office. A salary range of £50,000-£52,000 is on offer with attractive company benefits!

You MUST hold a full UK driving license!

Closing date for this role is the 30th of April. You must also have the right to work in the UK, sponsorship is not offered for the role.

Your Product Set:

  • Reinforced bitumen membranes (torch applied and self-adhesive)
  • 2nd generation structural hot melt.

What does the role entail?

As a Product Manager you will be a key player within their Technical Operations Department. This will cover a range of responsibilities which will include the following:

  • You will act as the business champion for technical matters relating to your product set.
  • You will provide technical support for your product set to clients, contractors and colleagues by email, telephone and on site.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in technical and marketing to ensure information relating to your product set is developed and maintained
  • You will undertake technical assessments and approval of bespoke drawings produced by Design Services.
  • You will undertake product and system development, including meeting potential and current suppliers and testing products and accessories.

What skills will you have?

You MUST hold a full UK driving license.

  • At least 5 years' experience in a Technical Department supporting roof design or construction works in the UK.
  • At least 5 years' experience with hands-on application
  • Experience answering technical questions by email and telephone in a technical support role.
  • Experience delivering training or colleague induction sessions.
  • Experience with testing or trialling products and providing feedback.
  • Experience planning and scheduling your own workload and working autonomously.

What is on offer?

A salary of £50,000 to £52,000 is on offer working within a progressive, well-established company.

You will be working in a hybrid environment working 1 day per week or equivalent.
