About the Role
Hampshire County Council are undergoing a series of office moves and relocations. There is a requirement to disassemble and relocate IT equipment to new areas ready for staff to move into.
An IT Technician is required on a contract basis to assist with this work and to perform other desktop support duties as required. This role is initially for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
Essential skills and experience
- Recent experience of 2nd line Desktop IT Support (Windows 11)
- Experience of delivering and setting up end user IT devices into an office environment
- Strong self -organisation and self-motivation behaviors
- Good problem-solving skills
- Management of stock/ asset management systems
- Strong customer communication skills in person and over phone, with experience of managing difficult customers
- Lifting and carrying - physically fit
- Clean Driving License
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Microsoft InTune and Windows Autopilot
- Android smartphone and Tablet Support
Working Location
- Winchester (EII Court)
- Various offices in Hampshire
- Remote working is not expected.
