Position: 2nd Line Support Engineer 🚨
Location: Central Manchester 📍
Salary Range: £30,000 - £33,000 🫰
We're currently collaborating with an MSP situated in Manchester, seeking to expand their service desk team. The role entails delivering telephone and email-based technical support within agreed SLAs to their diverse client base and involvement in large projects.
We're searching for a candidate with a robust IT Support background, ideally gained within an MSP environment and a passion for IT coupled with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service is imperative.
Job Overview🎯:
- Provision of 2nd line technical support for hardware and software issues
- Participation in significant projects such as upgrades, rollouts, and migrations
- Timely resolution management of open calls and associated actions across all clients
- Taking ownership of incidents and overseeing them through to resolution
- Proficiency in researching ideas and concepts to identify suitable technical solutions or resolve issues
- Provision of on-site support to clients as necessary
- Delivering outstanding customer service, demonstrating willingness to go above and beyond for our clientele
Technical Skills we're looking for🎯:
- Windows Server
- M365 and associated add-ons
- Azure
- Antivirus Solutions (e.g., Sophos)
- Fundamental knowledge of Firewalls (WatchGuard/SonicWall)
- Networking fundamentals
- Exceptional hardware/software troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- HyperV/VmWare
- MDM
- VPN
- Exchange
- SharePoint
- Storage (SANs & NAS)
