Data Operations Manager

£90,000 - £95,000

London/Remote

We are representing a fast-paced global education organisation that spans across multiple regions, supports 14,000 employees and has around 100,000 users. With private equity backing, they are on an exciting growth curb, and are now looking for a new Data Operations Manager to help deliver the next phase of their growth and transformation plans.

You will be reporting to the Group Head of Applications, and initially responsible for a small team of 3. This is an exciting opportunity to enter a greenfield site and have the autonomy to build the Data Platforms function from the ground up. You will drive the design, development, and support of the global Azure Data Platform, as well as foster an insight driven culture across the organisation.

We are looking for:

• A strong Data Engineering background
• Proficiency in Azure data services, e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database
• Knowledge of security and infrastructure principles and best practises for data storage and management
• Strategic yet data-driven individual
• Strong leadership skills and stakeholder management

It would be a bonus if you had:

• Experience within a private equity AND/OR global organisation
