Our client, a leading retail company in the optical industry, is seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong business change experience within the retail sector, to join their team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of multiple projects from initiation to completion
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring projects are delivered within scope and budget
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders
  • Drive the implementation of best practices and continuous process improvement
  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and standards
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party suppliers

Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience in project management, ideally within the Retail industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex programs within the retail sector.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Relevant certifications, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile, are highly desirable
