Group Revenue Manager Role: PE Backed Research Business - Based in King's Cross London

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000

Cedar is recruiting a Group Revenue Manager position for a market leading research company, backed by top tier Private Equity firms. The Company has been going through a solid period of growth, boasting circa 100m in revenues and is looking for experienced qualified candidates to support the growth and streamlining of financial processes within the business. The role is responsible for the revenue forecasting, and broadly reducing any ageing debt by implementing effective processes and controls. The role is reporting to the Head of Finance and is based in King's Cross, London.

Responsibilities of the Group Revenue Manager include:

  • Develop and maintain robust AR management strategies to optimise cash flow and minimise bad debt risk.
  • Oversee the revenue forecasting process, collaborating with sales, finance, and other relevant teams to accurately predict future revenue streams.
  • Analyse revenue trends and variances, providing insights to senior management for decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Implement and monitor credit policies and procedures to mitigate credit risk and reduce ageing debt.
  • Lead efforts to identify and resolve issues related to revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline revenue-related processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track AR performance, revenue growth, and ageing debt reduction progress.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on AR performance, revenue forecasts, and initiatives to reduce ageing debt.
  • Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

Requirements:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with at least 3 years post qualified experience.
  • Experience working with international entities.
  • Experience with revenue management including forecasting and presenting concise information to non finance stakeholders.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
