BI Developer - £40K - Durham (Hybrid)

My client a forward thinking and market leading organisation are on the lookout for a new BI Developer to join their existing team. This is an exciting role for a candidate with a couple of years experience and technical expertise to hit the ground running. The role of a BI developer will be the sole one, seeing the successful candidate take ownership of end-to-end reporting and development projects.

This position will be based from my clients Spennymoor office, and would ideally be a day or two per week onsite. However, post probation this can be reduced.

Please note interviews for this position will be taking place between the 18th - 23rd April.

Responsibilities:

• Develop solutions to meet the needs of the business as directed by the Head of MI Systems and Reporting
• Identifying areas for improvement, assisting in developing these along with process improvements
• Working closely with internal business stakeholders, you will find innovative solutions to data/report requests
• Be involved in hands-on SQL database development and report-building, using PowerBI and SSRS
• Build reporting using the latest design standards and techniques ranging from single to multi page outputs.
• Ensure wherever possible systems are integrated providing a positive end user experience
• Contributing to the planned roadmap for system changes and improvements

Requirements:

• Advanced Power BI skills
• DAX
• Understanding of databases, structures, relationships, and other aspects related to SQL.
• Brilliant interpersonal skills
• Experience of working with BI and MI reporting software such as Power BI and SSRS
• Any experience with Power Apps (bonus points)
