Pre-sales Solution Architect
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Salary: £80,000 - 100,000 per annum

The role:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, an exciting and fulfilling opportunity awaits an experienced Senior Solution Architect to refine and influence our client's solution architecture practice. This role involves close collaboration with the sales team, and key responsibilities include:
* Assist sales teams in securing new opportunities.
* Serve as the technical expert supporting the sales team, adept at grasping customer requirements and integrating them into Glide solutions.
* Navigate commercial boundaries to ensure profitability and effectiveness of Glide solutions.
* Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Glide's portfolio.
* Essential to be Cloud agnostic, with proficient knowledge and experience across various cloud products including Azure, AWS, GCP, VMware, etc.

Responsibilities:
* Engage with various stakeholders throughout the solution sales cycle.
* Offer technical consultancy and presales support for bids and tenders in targeted sales opportunities.
* Participate in customer meetings (both physical and virtual), and contributing to the assessment of prospective clients' suitability for solution offerings as necessary.
* Develop comprehensive high-level designs (HLD) .
* Contribute to the creation and review of internal product documentation
* Drive innovation by proposing new services and solutions while refining the existing portfolio, particularly focusing on experience with large-scale migrations and transformations, ideally gained from a consultant or professional services background.

Skills and experience:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
* A proactive individual capable of effectively communicating with stakeholders across all organizational levels, adept at tailoring messages to suit different audiences.
* Highly organized, methodical, and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in design and cost estimations.
* Demonstrates strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
* Critical thinking and adept at producing clear and concise documentation are essential for this role.
* Proficient in numerical analysis and spreadsheet manipulation, often requiring the presentation of data in various formats.
