The Role

Cantium are recruiting an Application Support Analyst to support our Local Authority Applications, if you have experience supporting LAS, Synergy, Core+ or Mosaic then we’d love to hear from you!

This role would suit someone who’s a great problem solver who enjoys working with technology, you will receive training on the applications you are supporting and then be tasked with helping the end users resolve the issues they are facing.

This is a hybrid working role, 2 days a week in our Kings Hill office, 3 days per week at home!

Key Duties

• Investigate issues relating to Local Authority Applications and determine the best action to take
• Communicate with our end users to provide them with the correct information to resolve their issues, identify work-arounds, documenting the fix or, if needed escalate to the software supplier or senior colleagues

• Investigate minor security breaches, in accordance with established procedures and security standards. Compile reports and recommendations for management follow-up.

• Manage and oversee the operation of logical access controls for one or more platforms to provide constant, safe access to information services. Make sure that every setting for System Operational Security complies with the Corporate Business and ICT security strategies of the council.
• Carry out application maintenance tasks.

What we need from you

• Experience working in an IT Service Desk or IT Support Function
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to identify root cause of a customers issue
• Familiarity of applications which enable selective access to information held within a database or data warehouse
• Awareness of IT infrastructure within an enterprise environment including hardware, networks, and IT applications used within organisations
