Hardware Technical Manager

Bournemouth area - Office/Hybrid working

Salary: up to £75,000

I have a new opportunity to join my growing client, a company at the forefront of automation. They are looking to add a Hardware Technical Manager to their team, with strong server experience. You will be working on world class software, with a company that has been pioneering AI for the last 2 decades. Whilst initially the role would be more in-office than remote, once you are fully onboarded and to-grips with the team and service, there will be more opportunity for flexible working.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role, with a focus on server management and restructuring
• Experience with C/C++
• Deep understanding of server hardware architecture, components, and configurations
• Hands-on experience with server restructuring projects, including hardware upgrades, migrations, and consolidation efforts
• Strong knowledge of server virtualisation technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results within budget constraints
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
