We’re hiring for an IT Systems Assistant to join the IT & Business Systems Department at an electronics manufacturer based in Droylsden, Tameside. With ten sites across the globe, they are well established and recognised in the industry for their innovation and bespoke products.

What’s on offer?

• £24,000 - 25,000 per annum DOE
• Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm / early finish Friday (36 hours per week)
• 23 days holiday (excluding bank holidays)

What will you be doing as an IT Systems Assistant?

• Troubleshooting and resolving user issues reported via the helpdesk
• Maintain users and access rights on the company system
• Assisting in training, data migration, and go-live transitions for all integrated and supported business systems
• Generating test environments to test new or upgraded software
• Carrying out data extraction and manipulation
• Writing instruction guides on the computer systems

What do you need?

• 5 GCSE including English & Maths (A-C or equivalent)
• Working knowledge of MS Office – particularly Word & Excel
• Experience with Epicor/Kinetics ERP highly advantageous
• An understanding of functional processes: Finance, Sales, Procurement etc.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good writing skills and strong attention to detail
