Main Duties:
- Assist in identifying and establishing relationships with new and existing suppliers and brands.
- Communicate regularly with suppliers to track order status, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery.
- Involvement in negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to secure the best possible deals.
- Conduct research to identify new product opportunities and market trends.
- Analyse sales data and industry reports to make informed buying decisions.
- Coordinate purchase orders and ensure accurate entry into the system.
- Work closely with the inventory management team to maintain optimal stock levels.
Person Specification:
- Be experienced in purchasing with a strong knowledge of the tech or gaming industry and market trends
- Be experienced with the PC componentry product set (professional or hobbyist)
- Work well within a team. Works well with company goals and planning
- Have effective communication skills working with internal teams and external partners
