Brio is working with a software house based in Leeds and is looking to hire a software engineer in test.

You will be responsible for implementing test strategy, building out test automation frameworks and regression test packs, and ensuring a high-quality product that is accessible and playable via the web and mobile. The platform leverages a microservices architecture and front-end testing, automates APIs, and exercises non-functional requirements.

Who are we looking for:

· You are a senior expert and your experience should be in test automation of front-end websites, back-end services, and APIs.

· You have a strong technical background and will have excellent working knowledge and understanding of various tools e.g. Selenium, Postman, Ready API, Jenkins, Browser Stack, Cypress or Playwright K6, Pact, JMeter and Gatlin.

· You will be an expert in automated and manual cross-browser testing.

· A strong problem solver and a self-starter with a 'can do' attitude.

· Experienced in working in an agile environment (Scrum / Kanban)..

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

· Snr SEIT with extensive experience working with test tooling and developing automated testing suites.

· A variety of experience and technical expertise in the available test frameworks and tools on the market.

· Strong leadership skills, a 'can do' attitude, passion for technology and attention to detail.

· Exposure to performance and aspects of security testing.

· A good understanding of object-oriented programming and an appreciation of distributed systems design.

· Some cloud exposure, either AWS, Azure or GCP.
