A content designer within Our client's Technology division will be responsible for creating, evaluating, updating, and reviewing content at all stages of the end-to-end user journeys of the products. They will collaborate with other content and interaction designers, user researchers, product owners, and business analysts to make design decisions, implement changes, and document them.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and maintaining user-centered content for digital services
  • Conducting user research to inform content design
  • Designing and iterating content based on user feedback
  • Working closely with stakeholders to ensure content meets user needs
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure content is delivered on time and to a high standard


Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience as a content designer
  • Experience working on government projects
  • Knowledge of GDS patterns (nice to have)
  • Experience of working in an agile environment (nice to have)
  • Comfortable with presenting designs and decisions to senior stakeholders and clients (nice to have)


The successful candidate will have advanced proficiency in User Interface (UI) Design, Visual Design, Stakeholder Management, and Development. This is a contract position with an initial end date of 31st July, but there is a chance for contract extension. The location is hybrid - Newcastle, with 60% onsite and 40% remote work. BPSS standard checks will be required, and candidates do not need to be SC cleared.
