The Role
- Working within the R&D team and taking the lead of software projects
- Designing, implementing and maintaining software in C++ for new and existing products
- Working closely along-side the electronic and mechanical team on technical reviews, feasibility studies.
Lead Software Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Degree Educated in software engineering / computer science discipline
- Strong knowledge and experience working with Embedded C++ for applications / products
- Experience building software for Windows and WinCE or realtime operating systems
- Excellent knowledge of real-time and concurrent principles, networked devices and distributed processes
Desirable Experience
- Experience of electronics control/interfacing motors/sensors etc
- Knowledge of Linux OS
- Expereince leading projects and consulting with clients/stakeholders
