Infrastructure Architect - Permanent - London/Hybrid - £100-120K - Permanent Role

Working in a small financial business, you'll be at the heart of a technology transformation that is changing the way the business works, and will have a long term impact on the whole company. This is an opportunity to put your technical skills to work and play a high profile role in business growth.  

As the Infrastructure Architect, you'll design, deliver and communicate the underpinning technology vision and a provide a platform for the Engineering team as they build a trading system.

You'll work closely with the leadership team to shape and make the technology vision a reality and be a focus for their technology objectives and strategy.

You'll be hands-on, actively contributing to the roadmap delivery by providing technical expertise, hands on delivery and architectural designs and solutions in AWS, Terraform, Docker and a wide variety of other tooling.

You'll work with the Trading and Trading Product Development team to continuously improve internal trading tech products, models, reports and visualisations
To excel in this role you'll need hands on experience in the design, architecture and implementation of a scalable, secure, reliable low latency trading infrastructure using AWS cloud infrastructure.
Your technical skill set will include AWS, Terraform, Kafka, VPN, VPC Peering, EC2, S3, Lambda, Aurora, Docker/Kubernetes and other relevant tools, as well as experience in an Agile environment, and a real focus on putting your skills to use to build pragmatic, effective solutions.

It's London based - probably 2-3 days a week in the office - and permanent, paying around £100-120K.
