Position Overview:

They are currently seeking a talented AI Infrastructure Engineer to join their fast-paced, dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the robust infrastructure required to power their advanced AI and machine learning workflows. Collaborating closely with their multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to building scalable, resilient, and distributed systems that drive the success of their AI-driven applications.

Responsibilities:

• Write clean, efficient code in Python for various components of the AI infrastructure.
• Design and deploy scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions to support AI and machine learning initiatives.
• Manage and optimise data pipelines, storage systems, messaging frameworks and computing resources for efficient data processing and analysis.
• Integrate machine learning models into production systems, ensuring seamless deployment and operation.
• Optimise system performance and resource utilisation to meet scalability and efficiency goals.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of AI infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues that may arise in the AI infrastructure, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architect solutions, and drive projects to completion.
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in AI infrastructure, distributed systems, and cloud computing.

Requirements:

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Deep, extensive experience with Python programming and strong proficiency in Python development
• Deep knowledge of distributed and scalable systems, including proficiency with PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and Cassandra.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Desirable: Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and blockchain technologies.
