Infrastructure Engineer

£35,000 - £45,000 + Bonus

Our established client specialises in developing efficient data centres, providing digital consultancy, managed services, and technology, for market leading customers. They are now looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their dedicated team.

The Infrastructure Engineer will be instrumental in guaranteeing the strength and peak performance of our client's infrastructure.

Critical to this position is practical knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems and a demonstrated history in setting up and overseeing virtual environments, particularly with VMWare technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor server performance using PRTG and Auvik, addressing issues promptly for stability
• Provide expert support for escalated queries, troubleshooting hardware and virtualisation challenges
• Configure and maintain server environments for optimal performance and security
• Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance for system health and resilience
• Collaborate on project-based installations and deployments for seamless integration

Skills/ Experience:

• Windows desktop management/administration, and Windows Server administration
• Windows Build and Security Hardening
• VMware and/or Nutanix configuration and administration
• NAS/Storage Build and Configuration
• Windows Server VM/OS
• Windows Desktop OS
