IntaPeople are working with a fast-growing IT & Cybersecurity provider in Cardiff who are looking to expand their team with a SOC Analyst on a permanent basis. The role is key in delivering strong security services to the companies valued clients.

About this role…

• Protecting the company’s client’s networks, systems and data from cyber threats by actively analysing, monitoring and responding to incidents.
• Monitoring security alerts, investigating and responding to security incidents in a timely manner ensuring to always follow procedures and protocols.
• Collaborating with other teams to access security vulnerabilities and implement effective measures.
• Day to day management of P1-4 alerting and event analysis.
• Ensuring to stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, best practices and threats.
• Expectations to be on call on a rota basis.

About you...

• Proven experience in a SOC environment 
• The ability to develop playbooks as well as policy tuning and maturity.
• Able to collaborate in a team successfully
• Comfortable with the Microsoft Azure stack   
• SC200 certified.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender and Sentinel
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written
