Client Account Manager – IT Industry

Salary: £28,000 to £34,000
As an Account Manager your main role will be to proactively support customers while building strong and long-lasting relationships. The successful candidate will have worked in an IT / Software / Hardware / Office Equipment / Managed Service Provider type industry currently.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders
- Manage the customer experience for your accounts to ensure clients are satisfied and engaged.
- Answer client queries and identify new business opportunities amongst existing customers
- Carry out regular client review meetings at least once a quarter possibly more frequent
dependent on client size and complexity.
- Produce client reports on account status and quotes as required
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Skills Required
- Customer Service/Support focus
- Natural communicator and relationship builder
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written
- Prior commercial experience working within an IT / Software / Hardware / Office Equipment / Managed Service Provider
- Driving License and own transport
The role will suit individuals currently working as Account Manager, Sales Executive, Business Development Manager and be living within a commutable distance of Lye, Halesowen, Stourbridge, Dudley, West Birmingham.
Monday to Thursday 9AM to 5.30PM and Friday 9AM to 5PM.
