This is a new role through growth and well suited to an individual with a mix of data, analytics and business acumen. They're looking for someone who is keen to remain hands-on and has strong experience working with Python, Azure and a strong understanding of data security and privacy principles. The role:
- Work alongside systems engineers to create and deploy data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Create and implement a robust data architecture strategy that aligns with business objectives, guaranteeing scalability, dependability, and efficiency.
- Work closely with stakeholders to grasp data needs and transform them into scalable, effective solutions.
- Establish and uphold data modelling standards, optimal methodologies, and directives to maintain uniformity and reliability across the enterprise.
The candidate:
- Thorough understanding of data architecture principles, data modelling methodologies, and data integration strategies.
- Background as a data engineer or data architect
- Strong experience with Microsoft PowerBI, Azure Data Factory, SQL, Python, and Spark
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, adept at crafting scalable and effective data solutions.
- Proven experience setting up data warehouse/data platform
- Happy to be fully hands on.
