I am working with a Bristol based SaaS company who are looking for a talented Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their team.

This role is hybrid and will require two days in office per week in Bristol.

The successful Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be working on a range of companywide projects, migrating infrastructure services to the cloud. These projects can be across both AWS and Azure along with some on-prem systems still in place. You will be working within a talented, growing cloud infrastructure team, helping to improve the infrastructure stability, ensuring as little downtime as possible. It is important that you have good experience within a Linux environment.

Role responsibilities:

• You will design, build, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions in AWS.
• You will design, build, deploy and maintain on prem solutions although this is a smaller part of the role.
• You will contribute to continuous process and technology improvement.
• Automation of key infrastructure.
• Ensure that any issues are identified and solved

Skills and Knowledge:

• Agile working
• Linux systems - Hardware, Software, Networking, and Storage
• AWS / Azure Cloud platform working experience
• Architecting cloud infrastructure on AWS - Strong AWS experience is crucial
• System administration experience using deployment automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• DevOps processes experience
• ITIL awareness
